Pemahaman Musik Gerejawi Bagi Kaum Muda Di Tinjau Dari Mazmur 96:1

This research aims to provide young people with an understanding about making music correctly in accordance with the teachings of the Bible, and this is a form of response to young people's faith before God. To get a complete explanation, the method used in this research is normative research or literature study. The approach used is a theological approach using three library sources including: primary, secondary and tertiary sources. Based on the research results obtained, it can be concluded that it is the responsibility of young people to carry out their duties as God's chosen people in radiating the truth of Christ, based on a correct musical understanding of God's Word and a serious commitment to serving God as musicians and the truth of Christ without compromising with the influence of the outside world. At the end of this research, the author provides advice for every young generation of Christians who need to be moved to be serious about living out the truth of Christ through the ministry of music in the church as the only true and absolute truth. Christian youth need to be encouraged, led, supported, directed, and taught in the right way by the church through ecclesiastical music formation classes and support from parents to have a correct understanding of playing good and correct music in the church, and be serious about following it. their faith through the ministry of ecclesiastical music.
