Pelayanan Pastoral terhadap Praktik Okultisme Ditinjau dari 1 Yohanes 4:1

The purpose of writing this journal, in general this research aims to provide a correct understanding of the harmful impacts caused by occult practices in the life of the congregation. The method used in this research is the normative method or literature study. Several tactics and types of occult practices are ways in which the Devil seeks to lead people into sin. Therefore, the church must focus on pastoral care to reach out to the congregation. Pastoral care is an individualized ministry of a church shepherd to their congregation, providing counseling and a good understanding of the Word of God. Pastoral care is an effective way to combat occultism because it is very important for the life of the congregation. With pastoral care, it gives the shepherd an opportunity to protect the congregation from false teachings.
