This article aims to provide a correct understanding of how to discipline students biblically and understand the function of the Child Protection Law (UUPA).
The research method used in this writing is the normative research method using literature study. And the type of approach used is a theological and exegetical approach.
The results of this research show that in general teachers have an important role in educating. Theologically, educators (PAK teachers) are given full rights and are responsible for the lives of students. The existence of UUPA has both positive and negative influences.
Conclusion: The position of teacher is a calling with duties and responsibilities from God. God gives teachers the responsibility to provide proper education and understanding of the Truth of God's Word. Educators must provide correct teaching and provide rewards/punishments/discipline to students when they commit violations. UUPA was created in part so that educators can carry out their duties well, and vice versa, students can carry out their obligations correctly.
