Implementasi Hukum Kelima Pada Anak Usia 6 sampai 12 Tahun Berdasarkan Keluaran 20:12

This article aims to explain and provide an understanding of the Implementation of the Fifth Law for children aged 6 to 12 years, Based on Exodus 20:12. This research was carried out to produce accountable statements or conclusions. It is hoped that this article can provide a contribution or fruit of good thought and theological meaning as well as regarding the implementation of the Fifth Commandment for children aged 6 to 12 years, so that it can build and foster a correct understanding of children at an early age based on God's Word.

The benefit of research is that it can provide guidance to a child in respecting their parents, so that the results can become a guide that can change a child's behavior.

This article uses normative research methods with literature study. The types of approaches used are the Theological Approach and the Exgestive Approach.

The results of this research show that: to have a correct understanding or understanding of respecting parents and knowing and understanding that parents are God's Representatives in the World, every child is fully responsible for respecting their parents.

The conclusions of this research are: First, as a child entrusted by God to exist in this world through parents, it is necessary to respect and obey both parents, because parents are God's representatives in this world.
